This song tell about friend of friend’s writer who cheating when he is in college. There is many university students in Indonesia buy a thesis for their final exam. So many people do like that until the writer say it is no different than a bread. They don’t want to study hard, to get best mark they use a short way to graduated from university. They think educational certificate is just expensive crystal lamp. Just for symbol of prestige. Just buy it and everything is gonna be easy.
But, the worse from do something like that is they lie to their parents who always pray all the time for their success. The writer so sad and ashamed when he hear that cheated students looks so proud when they graduated from university with wrong way.
This is an old song made by Virgiawan Listanto or known as Iwan Fals. He wrote this song in 70’s, when there is many university students cheating to get educational certificate in easy way . And I hope there is no university students do that again in this time.
